DevOps Engineer

For our teams located in Prague and Brno, we are currently looking for the right talent to join us. In our portfolio, we have different projects ranging from porting on different platforms, co-development with interesting teams from worldwide known studios, up to the development of our game titles. You will have the opportunity to work on different kinds of back-end solutions for games.

 

 What does our DevOps team do? 

  • Management of an AWS account
  • Management of CI/CD pipeline
  • Working with game back-end environments
  • Creation and maintenance of deployment scripts
  • Monitoring statistics and metrics
  • Troubleshooting

What do we need you to have?

  • At least 2 years of experience as DevOps Engineer (or similar role)
  • Knowledge of cloud systems (preferably AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with scaling of cloud applications
  • Knowledge of Docker Image services (Kubernetes or similar)
  • English is a must, as we are working in international environments

 Nice to haves:

  • C# programming
  • Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
  • Experience with TeamCity or Jenkins
  • Work experience with architecture of back-end infrastructure

UI Game Developer

Our teams located in Prague and Brno are currently looking for an open-minded talent to fit in. Grip Digital portfolio consists of a variety of projects ranging from the development of in-house game titles to co-development with Triple-A gaming studio teams and porting among different platforms.

 

What does our UI game developer do?

  • As part of a team develops game UI on internal or external projects.
  • Debugs and troubleshoots errors in game code.
  • Levels up personal Unreal Engine skills in the internal Academy team.
  • Attends daily stand-up sync meetings.

 

What do we need you to have?

  • As we use Unreal Engine primarily we require at least some OOP programming experience (preferably C++).
  • Experience with creating UI from layouts to implementations, e.g. WPF and C#, HTML5 and JavaScript, Qt and C++, etc.
  • Capability and openness to learn newly required technologies and efficiently use the gained knowledge.
  • Interest in the gaming industry.
  • English is a must, we are working in an international environment.

 

What will be your first steps as UI Game Developer?

  • You will be provided with the Unreal Engine (UE) training to help you feel comfortable working with UE as well as to help you improve your existing UE knowledge with a focus on game UI.
  • In the next step, you will be assigned with some simpler tasks related to the game logic and one of our senior developers will guide you through the process if needed.
  • Once you will get independent and be familiar with our code, we will together discuss your future development and start navigating you through your game development career.

For our teams located in Prague and Brno, we are currently looking for the right talent to join us. Our portfolio consists of a variety of projects ranging from porting among different platforms, co-development with AAA gaming studio teams and development of in-house game titles. 

Major technologies used are C++ and Unreal Engine. 

 

What does our game developer do?

  • Team development on internal and external projects.
  • Deal with various tasks in game development: game logic, optimization, physics, network, rendering, game AI, etc.
  • Debug and troubleshoot errors in-game code.
  • Level up your Unreal Engine skills in the internal Academy team.
  • Attend daily stand-up sync meetings.

 

What do we need you to have:

  • Knowledge of C++ from university or at least a year related work experience.
  • Capability to learn fast and apply the gained knowledge.
  • Interest in the gaming industry.
  • English is a must, we are working in an international environment.

 

What will be your first steps as Junior Game Developer:

  1. You will be provided with the Unreal Engine Academy training to help you feel comfortable with UE and help you improve your UE knowledge.
  2. Then you jump on easy tasks related to the game logic and one of our senior developers will guide you through the process if needed.
  3. Once you will get independent and be familiar with our code, we will discuss your future development together and start navigating you through your game development career.

Game Developer

For our teams located in Prague and Brno, we are currently looking for the right talent to join us. In our portfolio, we have different projects ranging from porting on different platforms, co-development with interesting teams from worldwide known studios, up to the development of our game titles. 

The technologies we are using during the co-development with other studios are C++, Unreal Engine, and sometimes C# with Unity. If you would be interested in the internal development of our titles, most likely you will work with Unreal Engine and programming in C++.

 

What does our game developer do:

  • Team development of internal and external projects
  • Elaboration of tasks in different kinds of game development: game logic, optimization, physics, network, rendering, game AI, porting on various platforms …
  • Debugging and troubleshooting errors in-game code.
  • Participation in daily stand-up meetings.

 

What do we need you to have:

  • Work experience with C++ (at least 2 years)
  • Capability to learn fast and apply the gained knowledge
  • English is a must, as we are working in international environments

 

Nice to haves:

  • Willingness to work exceptionally in C#, Python, or Javascript.
  • Experience with the development of games on consoles or mobile platforms.
  • Knowledge of Unity, UE4, CryEngine, or Lumberyard
  • Multicore programming
